jagged love

dragon back thoughts
tough and scaly
a side of love seldom seen
my heart of hearts
sheds skins
little flakes of me
carved off cruelly
dissolved
by the angry acid green of jealousy
now as manta ray I flutter
alone in a sea of recrimination
threads of curiosity passion and remorse
woven into me
hear and there
little tears
in the fabric of my life
