reflected in the low sky
a silver lining cloud
wends its way west
sunburned hills shimmer silent
awed by the changing canvas
as little worlds expand and collapse
moment to moment
brief exposure for a flash of life
in my hand millennia of movement
over the surface of my sand grain world
